Glass Dip Pen Each pen is crafted entirely differently, with slight variations from the hand-fired process. (For instance, the body and nib may not be perfectly straight, the surface might not be entirely smooth, some textured areas may feel raised or lowered to the touch, and the ink channels may not be perfectly equidistant.) A new pen is made only after one is sold. If you require more than two, please message us beforehand to view sample photos and confirm before placing an order. The pen shipped will be the one shown in the photos. Each glass pen possesses its own unique warmth, grip, writing feel, pattern flow, length, and more – all entirely distinct. 【How to Use】 Dip the nib into the ink, about 1/3 to half of its length is sufficient for writing. (Avoid hitting the bottom of the ink bottle.) The writing feel and line thickness will vary depending on the angle at which you hold the pen. Some angles may not be suitable for writing; you’ll need to discover the angle that works best for your writing style. After use, simply rinse the nib with clean water. If residual ink remains in the crevices after rinsing, you can gently brush it with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Let it air dry before storing. Do not drop. ★ This particular pen has more bubbles, resembling bubbles rising through water. Please refer to images 2 and 3. ★ Some initial scratching against the paper is normal when first using the pen. ★ To remove the protective cap, do not pull it off in a straight horizontal motion (this can damage the nib). Instead, twist it off by rotating in opposite directions. ★ Each pen features unique, naturally formed bubbles or bubble patterns. ★ For calligraphy practice, you may consider using hard-tip calligraphy guides. ★ Includes a small ink bottle (5ml) + a storage case. (★ As ink (liquid) cannot pass through customs, we are unable to include ink for international shipments.) ★ If repairs are needed due to damage, a fee will be charged based on the extent of the damage.
