This is a double-strand bracelet, crafted with vintage Aurora Czech beads, gooseberry beads, French vintage beads, and Karen silver. While modern beads often exhibit a more intense sparkle, vintage pieces have a wonderfully soft glow, appearing almost clear at first glance. These beads are in relatively good condition, though some minor scratches are present. (Aurora bead dimensions: 0.8cm length, 0.9cm width) The striped beads are known as gooseberries, antique beads from Venice (19th-20th century). They are named after their resemblance to the fruit of the currant bush. As these are deadstock items, they are in excellent condition with very few scratches. They have a delicate pink hue, exuding a charming, lustrous appeal. Smaller, clear beads with stripes are also considered gooseberries. The small purple, pink opal, and wisteria-colored beads are French vintage pieces, offering a subtle depth of character within their gentle tones.
