We kindly ask all students to register in advance! ____________________________________ **Course Content:** 🧵 Interested in sewing but don't know where to start? We'll teach you the basics of what sewing is and how to do it! The studio provides a variety of sewing machines for you to use during class, helping you better understand the craft. 🧵 With so many fabric types, which ones are best for sewing? We have a selection of fabrics available for you to explore. You'll learn about different fabric types and practice sewing with various materials during the lesson. 🧵 In this class, we'll create an **adorable coaster** to reinforce sewing concepts and learn appliqué techniques. You'll also understand why projects need interfacing, why a turning opening is left, and the importance of clipping seam allowances, among other concepts. 🧵 If you have a sewing machine at home but can't even sew a straight line, bring it with you! We'll guide you step-by-step on how to use your own sewing machine, helping you build confidence and overcome any fear of sewing. During the class, we'll practice correct thread threading and various stitch techniques, such as straight lines, S-curves, right angles, circles, and more. 🧵 No need to bring anything! All materials will be provided by the studio.
