"Krementz" is a name well-known and cherished by jewelry enthusiasts and antique collectors alike, renowned for their high-quality gold plating and exceptional craftsmanship. Legend has it that a significant collection of Krementz jewelry was aboard the Titanic when it sank. Indeed, Krementz is a distinguished brand that has stood the test of time.
While this piece is of excellent quality, it is still a vintage item. Please refrain from comparing it to new products or applying overly high standards.🙏🏻

⚜️ Approximately 3.7cm
⚜️ Shows normal signs of wear; the pin has darkened slightly, but overall condition is quite good. Please examine the photos carefully.
👀 Please be aware that measurements are taken with a tape measure, so slight variations are normal. As jewelry pieces are not perfectly rectangular, the measurements provided represent the longest and widest points.
🖤 This listing is for the brooch only; other items shown in photos are not included.
💎 Regarding rhinestone (rhodium) jewelry: Over time, it is common for the stones to become slightly frosted, dull, or for the metal backing to discolor, which can make the rhinestones appear to have dark spots or look dirty. These conditions are unavoidable, even with high-end brands. Therefore, if you are concerned about such imperfections, we recommend reconsidering antique jewelry with stones.

**Brand Story:**
The history of Krementz jewelry began in the 1860s when George Krementz established his company in Newark, New Jersey. Initially, the focus was on men's jewelry, such as collar clasps, cufflinks, and buttons.
In 1920, the company began producing women's accessories. Necklaces, brooches, and other types of women's jewelry quickly gained popularity. By the 1930s, Krementz was selling its products internationally.
In 1886, they transitioned to using gold overlay for their jewelry, achieving a higher quality finish with thin layers of gold plating. The gold plating used by Krementz jewelers was up to 30 times thicker than that commonly used in the manufacturing of fine jewelry, aiming to create a distinct value between costume and precious jewelry. Furthermore, Krementz created pieces during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras, periods that yielded many exceptional jewelry designs. Their enduring excellent condition is a testament to their superior quality, making Krementz highly valued by collectors.
Krementz continued to produce gold-filled jewelry until 1980. Subsequently, the company's new owner, Richard Krements, began crafting jewelry using high-quality 18-karat gold and platinum with inlays, particularly featuring unusual gemstones like tanzanite and tourmaline, alongside more familiar emeralds and sapphires.
Today, the company's creations are highly prized and continue to be produced under the name "Krementz Jewelry."
