production process, etc.
I mold the clay based on the sketch, let it dry a little, and then adjust the shape several times. It takes about a month to make enough to fill the kiln evenly. The pieces are unglazed for 7 hours, then removed, wiped with water, glazed one by one, and fired for 12 hours. Depending on the item, it is given a gold glaze and placed in the kiln again for 7 hours. It needs to cool down slowly, so wait two days after each firing before removing it from the kiln. Then, pick up each item one by one and put a pin on the good one. So far, the success rate is about 70%.
Although it takes a long time and effort, the result is a decorative brooch that combines the feel of clay, the strength of ceramics, the luster of glaze, and the sparkle of gold.
I think it's something you can use for a long time without change.
