These Spring Festival couplets are a special design we created for our own home, inspired by the "warmth" character in our baby's name. Placing "Warm Home" on our front door signifies a cozy dwelling filled with the warmth of a little one. Upon further research, we discovered that "nuǎn jū" (暖居) has its own traditional meaning: it refers to the ancient custom of inviting friends and family to a new home after moving in, a practice known as "warming the dwelling." The same phrase can hold diverse meanings for different people. This particular couplet has been a beloved piece at our studio and local markets, so we're delighted to share it with everyone. Each one is hand-screened with meticulous care. The golden ink imbues the couplets with a refined texture.
