When colored through an oxide film, this surface pattern becomes even more prominent, resulting in a finish unattainable with ordinary titanium. This Crystallized Titanium is then cut into a 2.5mm x 2mm x 25mm rectangular prism and fashioned into earrings. Even the hook and other components are made of titanium and colored similarly. They are safe for those concerned about metal allergies and are so lightweight, being entirely titanium, that you might forget you're wearing them. <About the Color> Various colors are achieved by controlling the thickness of the oxide film using a technique called anodization. At Arikata, we offer 10 basic colors.
