Through countless layers of lacquer, sanding, and polishing, it achieves a particularly substantial feel in hand. Under the high-definition, high-gloss transparent lacquer, its texture is further enhanced. The high-definition, high-gloss finish makes it easy to maintain, resistant to ink stains or perspiration, and makes the wood grain appear even more three-dimensional. Most briarwood pens on the market are simply polished or waxed after turning. Such an intricate finishing process is exceptionally rare. (Briarwood features unique dark spots and natural grain patterns; high-quality pieces are shipped randomly.)
