Yamdrok Lake is located in southern Tibet, near Lhasa. Yamdrok Lake means "Jade Lake of the Upper Pasture" in Tibetan. It is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet. The shape of the lake is extremely fragmented, like a coral reef. It has bred many species and is also a lake that freezes in winter. There is a Sangding Temple on the west side of the lake, standing quietly on the top of a mountain by the lake. It has spent hundreds of years there, with countless monks practicing there. They guard the legends and beliefs of the lake, or perhaps the lake also protects the people on the land. — Diameter: about 14.5cm Height: 7.5cm Origin: Taiwan Material: Yellow pottery Handmade The pottery is made using the wheel pulling technique, with the process of bisque firing at 900 degrees and glaze firing at 1230 degrees for reduction. The glaze is non-toxic and can be used as an edible utensil. Remark: The size is measured manually, there may be an error of 0.5cm, but I will try to be as accurate as possible. All photos are taken with natural light, and try to capture every angle of the object.
