For the first cleaning, wash several times with a neutral detergent. You may also use a paper towel dipped in edible oil to wipe the surface several times; this easily removes any residual gray titanium powder from the manufacturing process. Afterward, clean again with a neutral detergent. Since we use edible oil for pressing and avoid acid pickling, some residual gray titanium powder is unavoidable. This is a non-toxic, pure titanium safe manufacturing process, and you can wash it with confidence. 2. If there is scorching or stubborn buildup, you may gently scrub with the abrasive side of a sponge or a soft steel brush. 3. If colored titanium surfaces are scrubbed off or reveal the base metal color, rest assured: because there is no coating, pure titanium is safe and non-toxic, containing no harmful heavy metals. It is safe to scrub these utensils. 4. Do not soak in reducing acid series cleaners (such as stain removal powder or hydrogen peroxide) or sodium percarbonate. These will strip the titanium of its color and luster, which cannot be restored. 【Characteristic Notes】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release. Items like lunch boxes, storage containers, and square pots may show food stains, large purple-blue patches after initial boiling, or brown patches after washing even without heating. These are not rust (pure titanium does not rust) but are simply metal characteristics or changes from our pre-firing process. This does not affect safe use; marks will fade or disappear on their own after a period of normal use. 2. Square-shaped utensils are more prone to stress release, leading to more intense color changes and a higher likelihood of brown patches. 3. Exposure to temperatures above 250 degrees in ovens or over direct gas flames may cause purple-blue color changes; this color is permanent but does not affect safety. 4. Large flat surfaces are more susceptible to warping when used directly over a gas flame. 5. Pure titanium easily retains water spots due to its metallic properties. If this concerns you, wipe the item dry immediately after washing to prevent water marks from affecting the appearance. 【Applicable Appliances】 **Single-walled titanium tableware can be heated; double-walled items are not suitable for heating.** Dish dryer - Suitable: If oily residue like olive oil is not washed off, blue-purple powder may appear during drying; this is dried oil and will disappear once cleaned properly.
