The backing is a plain, deep navy Taiwanese double gauze. Both soft and highly absorbent. Double gauze is a fabric often used for infant and baby products. Compared to regular cotton, double gauze is exceptionally soft, gentle on the skin, and offers superior absorbency. Furthermore, its characteristic is that it "becomes softer with each wash." It's wonderfully suited for gently wiping facial skin. Folded neatly, it can be carried in your pocket for everyday use.
