**◈ A Word from the Designer**
This piece features carefully selected, rare, and precious natural **turquoise**, meticulously sliced and polished with a **sparkling faceted** design.
The natural turquoise displays evocative and beautiful **veining**, with soothing **gold, green, and blue** hues like **apple green, blue-green, and sky blue**. It evokes the imagery of **verdant pine forests on mountains** or **ink wash landscapes**, with each turquoise slice resembling a canvas, capturing textures akin to traditional Chinese landscape paintings.
Echoing the gold, green, and blue tones of the turquoise, the piece is adorned with **gold, green, and blue agate rings**. The three agate rings symbolize **"Three Honors" (三元及第)**, integrating the concept of **"Resonant Wisdom" (玉振金聲)**, which represents wisdom, virtue, noble character, and beauty. The gentle clinking of the gemstones sounds like **delicate bells**, as if a refined guest is arriving, making it a delightful piece to wear and admire. It exudes a subtle elegance, richly interpreting the energy and beautiful textures of antique gemstones.
**Due to the unique sliced design of the gemstones, this bracelet is suitable for wrist sizes approximately 15.5-16.5cm. Feel free to discuss adjustments with the designer.**
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its auspicious and wealthy owner.**
**Resonant Wisdom (玉振金聲)**
Since ancient times, gentlemen have adorned themselves with jade. When they walked, the jade ornaments would chime together with a crisp, metallic sound. People would hear it and know a virtuous person was approaching – this is the origin of the idiom "Resonant Wisdom." It later evolved to signify that only those of noble character should wear jade, and also came to describe someone of profound knowledge and virtue.
**Turquoise**
Turquoise (Turquoise) ranges in color from blue, green, to light green and yellow. It is one of the oldest gemstones, revered as a mystical and protective item in ancient Egypt, Mexico, and Persia. Ancient rulers used turquoise to signify their divine authority, political power, and wealth.
Visually, the black veins on the surface of turquoise are called "iron lines," formed by the oxidation of iron elements within the stone. Thus, each iron line is a unique gift from nature.
Furthermore, turquoise is graded by its degree of "vitrification." The higher the degree of vitrification, the fewer iron lines, the tighter the structure, and the rarer the gemstone.
**Agate**
Agate (Agate), also known as "Jade," is primarily composed of silica from volcanic eruptions. It is a relatively abundant gemstone in the Earth's crust, making it one of the oldest gemstones in history.
After volcanic eruptions, silica melts in nature entered the pores of volcanic rocks or rock fissures, depositing layer by layer, forming opaque, translucent, to transparent colors. This creates what is known as "banded agate" (finely banded agate is even called "silk agate"), while spotted varieties resembling snowflakes are commonly known as "sakura agate."
Agate is composed of various colors (mineral colors) and can form concentric circles, wavy patterns, layers, or parallel bands, hence the saying, "a thousand types of agate, ten thousand types of jade."
Agate symbolizes stable energy, capable of calming emotions, soothing anxiety, enhancing vitality and energy, strengthening one's aura and magnetic field, attracting positive energy and good luck, boosting fortune, and subsequently enhancing creativity and inspiration, leading to a flow of ideas during the creative process.
With its wide range of colors, agate corresponds to the seven chakras of the human body, making it a precious and beautiful gem with both historical value and functional properties.
**Thumb Ring (Ring Band, Ring)**
The origin of the ring can be traced back to the thumb ring.
Thumb rings, also known as "banzhi," "bandzhi," or "bangzhi," were tubular protective gear made of leather, animal bone, etc., worn on the thumb by ancient archers to prevent the arrow shaft from injuring their thumb. After the Qing Dynasty, this tubular gear evolved into decorative items made of hard, precious materials like gold, silver, jade, agate, turquoise, and ivory, symbolizing power and status.
Traditional thumb rings were classified as either "civil" or "military" based on their size and thickness. Military thumb rings often had simple, unadorned designs, while civil thumb rings frequently featured poetry or patterns on their outer surfaces. Thumb rings made from precious materials were exclusively used by royalty and nobility. Common thumb rings were most often made of Hetian jade, ivory, or porcelain.
The distinction in materials for thumb rings in ancient times served as a marker of social status, carrying a sense of caution, thus evolving into what is known today as a ring.

**◈ On Use and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess a natural luster and unique textures (fine black spots, stone patterns, ice cracks, inclusions, mineral deficiencies, asymmetry, and other natural details). When worn frequently, you can observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, which typically become more translucent and captivating, and this is the best method of maintenance.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral and amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If they become soiled, avoid washing with detergents. Simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also lightly brush with a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for care.
2. Metal jewelry has a very long lifespan. Avoid external force damage or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric items (ribbons, cotton, gauze) have a soft and comfortable texture and a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external force damage, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For jewelry of any material, when soiled, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, dry promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be carefully packaged and stored to minimize exposure to excess air and slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or pressing heavily.
