Our father, typically engaged in woodblock printing, applies wood grain designs to leather that has been tanned using natural ingredients, employing his printing methods. The combination of the gentle, natural feel of the wood grain with the subtly nostalgic oxidized brass results in a truly rare and unique wristwatch. As the watch strap is in direct contact with the skin and is prone to absorbing water and oils, it cannot be enjoyed for its patina over many years like a handbag or wallet.
