Set of 10 handpainted Amsterdam canal houses

Set of 10 handpainted Amsterdam canal houses based on houses that were built in the 17th century. This set was made for Blokker in 1996 when they celebrated their 100th anniversary. Blokker is an iconic Dutch household item shop that can be found in any town of considerable size. These houses, limited in number, could only be obtained by collecting enough Blokker stamps. Made of solid polystone, they are highly collectible these days. This set includes Jacob Blokker's first "De goedkope ijzer en houtwinkel" (The cheap iron and wood shop). It is in fairly good condition with some small signs of usage and aging. There is a little white paint on the side of one of the houses which happened during the production process. There is a piece of felt at the bottom of each piece and they are in various conditions. Two of the houses' green felt pieces are missing from the bottom. This has no affect on the stability of the houses The highest house measures about 11cm tall and the the set measures 45cm in length.
