" Grateful Blue " We've infused the beautiful indigo hue of Japanese indigo dyeing into this phrase. The motif is inspired by the beloved band, Grateful Dead. A skull adorns the back. After indigo dyeing, we use stencils and a technique called "bassen" to remove color, creating lettering and designs. The production process involves indigo dyeing, followed by bassen, and then a tie-dyeing technique with indigo for uneven coloration. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the unevenness in the dye. Each piece is hand-dyed and processed with bassen individually, so you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind indigo-dyed item, as no two are exactly alike.
