Avoid hitting the bottom of the ink bottle. The writing feel and line thickness will vary depending on the angle at which you hold the pen. Some angles may not write smoothly; experiment to find the angle that best suits your writing style. After writing, rinse the nib with clean water. If residual ink remains in the crevices after rinsing, gently brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Allow it to air dry before storing. Do not drop. ★ Some initial scratching on the paper is normal when first using the pen. ★ Do not remove the protective cap by pulling it straight out horizontally, as this can damage the nib. Instead, twist it in opposite directions to remove. ★ Each pen features unique, naturally occurring bubbles or bubble patterns, as seen in Figure 3. ★ For calligraphy practice, consider using hard-pen practice sheets. ★ Includes a small ink sample (5ml) + storage box.
