This process creates a fabric that is "light," "soft," and develops a beautiful "patina" rather than deteriorating. We cherish this relaxed, natural texture. As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which might look like minor "frays" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we strive to minimize them through thorough quality control at the factory and careful placement during cutting. If found, we endeavor to use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, eliminating them entirely is not possible.
