Postcard Size: 135mm*135mm
Morning glories from childhood memories, blue trumpets~
As if announcing the arrival of the most beautiful orange cat! Adorned with a flower crown, full of confidence, it's yawning~ (Yawning again!)
Hahaha~ This is just how cats are!!
When hung on the wall, it becomes the most charming cat artwork.
We hope you'll find a moment of feline-induced tranquility in these pieces.

There's a little story behind why we decided to represent this brand.
Towards the end of 2024, a sudden lockdown was announced just before our scheduled business trip to Korea. Fortunately, it was lifted just before our flight, and we arrived safely. However, upon arriving in Korea, we found ourselves trapped in a subway car. Protesters were flooding the station, pushing us into a dense, unmoving crowd. We could barely breathe. We kept thinking, "What if this turns into a stampede?" We encouraged each other to stay calm, find ways to breathe, keep our heads up, and most importantly, not to fall. Thankfully, after a few stops, the overwhelming crowd disembarked at Yeouido Station. We were shaken, tears welling up.
Later, after leaving the subway, we unexpectedly stumbled upon Hyejin's exhibition. The cats' languid and serene postures instantly calmed the storm of emotions we had just experienced. We felt as if we had finally found solid ground again after being adrift.
We truly felt, from the bottom of our hearts, how wonderful it is that cats exist in this world. Hyejin's cat creations are such treasures.
And so, this unexpected partnership began. 🤍

Hyejin's style blends modern aesthetics with traditional Korean techniques, developed through patient creation and hand-painting.
We are deeply drawn to the vintage, nostalgic feel of her work, reminiscent of the folk scroll paintings from Korea's Joseon Dynasty.

Every stroke meticulously renders exquisite details, creating artworks that invite prolonged admiration.
Creating art with traditional Korean techniques requires immense patience. The artist applies delicate layers of color, achieving rich, saturated, and deep hues.
Even the smallest butterfly or grasshopper is rendered with soul and exquisite detail.

Each painting captures the essence of cats sharing our space. Their unhurried pace and quiet companionship convey the artist's intended message.
Hyejin frequently holds solo exhibitions in Korea and has been creating art for over a decade.

Hyejin primarily uses her own cats as inspiration, depicting them with mischievous yet sharp eyes – embodying that perfectly sassy and characterful feline spirit. There's a captivating blend of contrast and harmony, a perfect fusion of tradition and modernity.
Incorporating contemporary styles and characters, she portrays the lives and thoughts of animals within traditional art.
She utilizes Hanji (Korean paper), a material less commonly seen in the market, and employs the 'Gongbi' (meticulous brushwork) technique. This paper lends a warm overall tone to the artwork, while the intricate Gongbi lines ensure exquisite detail.

This warm feeling, this unique combination, allows the contemporary painting style to blend seamlessly.
