The fabric, made from pure white linen dyed five times with persimmon tannin,
was sewn, then dyed twice more and allowed to rest.
It was dyed once more recently.
It has a firm texture.
With use, it will gradually develop subtle scuffs,
creating the characteristic chalk lines (white lines) of persimmon tannin dye,
and will soften and age beautifully over time.
