The wood I use to make the mug is alder burl. This is a very light cup with an interesting texture. The cup is made from a small growth on a tree near the root. Suitable for coffee, tea or small drinks. Cup No. 272. The name is "Mole Donut". Any wooden utensils require maintenance. For a long lasting mug, do not wash it in the dishwasher or use detergents. I recommend periodically lubricating a dry cup with natural oil suitable for contact with food (for example, linseed oil or special oil for wooden dishes). I test all the mugs with boiling water, but I still recommend pouring warm drinks and not leaving the liquid in the cup for a long time. Enjoy your use! P.S.
