So far, "Women Make Waves Taiwan International Women's Film Festival" is not only Taiwan's oldest topical film festival, but also one of Asia's most important and representative film festivals. 🔸 Artist introduction - Bao Zi Chen Taipei people, illustrators work and creators. In 2009, I started working with Yishe Stationery Co., Ltd., and I was noticed in the stationery market with simple and cute girls' illustrations and handwritten characters. Many design stationery products can be found in the stationery stores of all major Taiwanese bureaus. In the future, I look forward to more different types of illustration cooperation, as well as continuing to experiment with illustration and image creation and picture book creation with an experimental mindset. The creative concept of Baozi Chen is- I am a less radicalist group of feminism. The style of general illustration is also a gentle and emotional style. At first, I heard that the theme of "control" was difficult to control, because it sounded negative, and I was worried that the presentation of the painting would be misleading. Later, the idea was to put a lot of bound elements to control the theme. I feel that the concept of equality between men and women is now much improved. In the process of growing up, I have not been bound by a lot of restrictions. However, after the actual search, I found that there are actually many invisible constraints in society. I thought about the whole picture from the middle. I think the scene of girls being bound is often in the family, so I painted a girl in the middle of the house. Then arranged a lot of hands beside, deliberately want to make the picture look gentle, because the pressure on many people is not necessarily so intense, the hand that looks very gentle may actually be a bondage. I think a lot of people, like me, didn't realize the control in life, thinking that they wanted to be their own, but actually what others want you to be. I feel that when a girl wants to be a better self, she is often influenced by the expectations of many people. This is also a kind of control. The people on both sides are actually the image of the vase. I think many girls are actually not free in order to maintain this beautiful picture. Other elements are like peeling the cage under the skirt, grabbing the hair, pulling the zipper and trying to escape the vase. I think women are very gentle to me, so the break-ups in the picture are more gentle and escape from the bondage. Like the left side, there is a foot that silently breaks the cage. The vagina image on the left, although there was no such idea at first, but many people said it at the glance, so I don't exclude sex. The middle woman is mainly orange-red. She hopes to make her into a different skin color. Her body shape is also neutral and there are not many characteristics to express that this girl actually symbolizes all women. The color choice in other places is to express the whole picture in a more neutral color.
