Some brands granted special authorization for the production of limited-edition items unique to Japan, which you wouldn't even find through the brand's main sales channels. For instance, Celine, in earlier times, licensed a Japanese textile company to produce various textiles, including home goods, which were incredibly practical. What's more, they were offered at very friendly prices, making them perfect for both gifting and personal use, a far cry from the price points of the brand's boutique stores! However, Celine's licensing agreements with Japanese companies ended long ago, so even if you visit Japan now, you won't be able to purchase these items. These are therefore completely discontinued Japanese exclusive specialties from many years ago, and like vintage bags, they are one-of-a-kind finds! ⚐⚑˒˒ This is a Japanese-made acrylic fiber shawl/scarf. Despite being vintage, its condition is excellent, and it's particularly affordable! There are no issues with color bleeding or staining, nor any pilling. The only flaw is one or two minor snags, which can be easily trimmed. The color is a very rock-and-roll red x black plaid pattern. The material is suitable for autumn through early winter. It's actually thinner than it appears in photos. The loose weave means it's not ideal for very cold weather. However, for the general climate in Taiwan and Hong Kong, it's suitable for most days.
