We always wanted to create irregular spots, like a Dalmatian, on plain shoelaces. After trying various methods, we finally accented nylon fibers onto polyester laces, successfully replicating that natural and random aesthetic. We named it after Pongo, the protagonist from '101 Dalmatians,' to commemorate this process of repeated experimentation. The surface is covered with a web of fiber fragments, increasing the friction of the laces, making them less likely to come undone when tied. The strong core thread is durable and resistant to breakage, suitable for all brands of basketball shoes and hiking boots. From the density of fiber accents to the tensile strength of the core, each batch is produced in Taiwan. We ship only after confirming the quality of each batch. The spot distribution on each pair is unique, just like the coat pattern of a Dalmatian.
