**◈ A Word from the Designer**
**Baroque Pearls**
In the 17th century, the prevailing art style in Europe was **Baroque**, characterized by **opulence, drama, fluidity, irregularity, and dynamism**.
Compared to traditional perfectly round pearls, pearls with **irregular** shapes (baroque pearls, freeform pearls) seem to inherit the exaggerated and luxurious artistic style of "Baroque," hence their name, **"Baroque Pearls."**
The unique, **naturally formed** shapes of baroque pearls exude a rich, lively, and independent personality, serving as a canvas for jewelry designers to unleash their imagination, infusing baroque pearls with a free, wild spirit.
Each baroque pearl is one-of-a-kind, making jewelry crafted from them **a rare encounter, a unique piece, and unrepeatable.**
This design features carefully selected baroque pearls, thoughtfully incorporating pearls in **white, pink, gold, and purple** hues, allowing you to **collect all the pearl color palettes at once.**
Each white baroque pearl boasts a distinctive shape and shimmers with a **gentle, iridescent glow**, fully showcasing the beauty of **pearl luster.**
The double-strand chain design enhances the sense of opulence, adorned with a **yellow gold knot clasp (internal closure)**, creating a radiant, fashionable, and luxurious overall look.
**The pendant is detachable and can be worn separately as a necklace pendant.**
**A unique piece, awaiting its wise, prosperous, and beautiful owner ^^**
**Pearls**
The English word "Pearl" originates from the Latin "Pemnla," meaning "child of the sea." Throughout history, in both Eastern and Western cultures, pearls have symbolized health, purity, and nobility, and are the birthstone for June.
Pearls, amber, and coral are the world's three major organic gemstones, with pearls often hailed as the king of organic gemstones.
Pearls are produced by mollusks and are primarily composed of calcium carbonate. Their low hardness makes them soluble in acids and alkalis. Therefore, pearls should not be in prolonged contact with coarse fabrics or hard objects, and should be kept away from cosmetics, perfumes, dyes, and any chemical substances. Oiling is also not recommended.
Pearl colors are magnificently rich and varied, with delicate and soft tones ranging from warm hues of yellow, gold, orange, pink, and creamy white, to cooler shades of green, blue, indigo, purple, and gray.
Pearls can form naturally or be cultured. Currently, 99% of pearls on the market are cultured.
Natural pearls are primarily found in the Persian Gulf and India, as well as freshwater pearls from Tennessee, USA.
Cultured pearls benefit from Japan's most mature technology, producing the highest quality. Other producing regions include China, Tahiti, Australia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Myanmar in the South Seas.
Cultured pearls can be categorized into four types:
1. Nucleated Cultured Pearls - Tend to be rounder in shape. (Perfectly round natural pearls are extremely rare.)
2. Keshi Pearls - Nuclei are placed on the mantle tissue, allowing pearls to grow around them.
3. Mabe Pearls - Pronounced "Mah-beh," these are half-round pearls, also known as "button pearls" or "half-round pearls."
4. Non-Nucleated Cultured Pearls - Freshwater cultured pearls, used for pearl powder due to the absence of a nucleus.

**◈ On Usage and Care**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (such as tiny black spots, internal fractures, crystal lines, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, and asymmetry). With frequent wear, you will observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, often making them appear more translucent and captivating, which is the best form of care.
Natural organic gemstones (like coral, amber, pearls, and giant clams) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. When soiled, avoid using detergents. Simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a soft brush with a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, provided it is protected from external damage or strong acids and alkalis that could cause fading.
3. Fabric components (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch and have a long lifespan, provided they are kept away from high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that could cause fading.
4. For jewelry of any material, when soiled, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with clean water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for materials that allow it. After washing, ensure it is dried promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be carefully packaged and stored to minimize exposure to excess air, slowing down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or placing heavy objects on it.
