It's said that the original, classic formulations for the eraser and graphite core have been preserved, perfectly reviving this once-iconic pencil. - In addition to the classic 602, Palomino has introduced several models with different graphite grades to cater to a wide range of enthusiasts. Based on our testing and comparison, the black pencil has a graphite depth of approximately 4B, the white pencil around 2B, the grey 602 is a B, and the natural wood finish is HB. Due to the characteristically soft graphite, each lead offers satisfying depth and intensity. - The eraser at the end is another distinctive feature that sets the Blackwing apart from ordinary pencils. It utilizes a small metal ferrule as a mechanism, allowing the worn eraser to be pushed further out and offering the ability to replace it.
