Hexagonal Glass Tumbler — Sandblasted Flying Cats with Fireworks (Sanka)

A mysterious hexagonal-bottom glass — each of the six faces is sandblasted with cats in various poses and with fireworks. There are 13 cats in total. The cats near the top of the glass are energetically leaping, the ones in the middle are strolling or sitting relaxedly, and the cat at the base is curled up sleeping. This piece is the summer version, engraved with fireworks of many sizes. Ideal as a drinking vessel for shochu, Japanese sake, chilled sake, etc. Also makes a lovely gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Respect-for-the-Aged Day, and other commemorative occasions. Point This glass is made from transparent glass that has been coated with a baked film. It has a gentle, subtle sheen.
