Brut Cake's fabric products are all made of home-made fabrics from the Jiangnan region of China, that is, handmade old fabrics. The fabrics are at least 20 years old, and each piece is antique fabric. In the early years, people collected natural cotton, and after 72 complicated processes and hand-made weaving, they created the tough, durable and simple beauty of old homespun cloth. Brut Cake only produces a few products; adhere to the most simple and practical design, so that the beauty of homespun cloth is directly presented, there is no noise, and only the straight textile lines show a restrained beauty.
Home-made cloth is no longer produced, so when we are making goods, we cherish fabrics very much. Paying attention to the essence of the material and making people touch the original texture is the most important thing about Brut Cake. When you brush your hand across the surface of ancient fabrics, you can definitely feel its meticulous and simple handmade touch and special atmosphere, which is not available in ordinary printed fabrics.

2. Some products have small thread ends when hand-woven wiring, which is not a defect. Those who cannot accept it should not buy it.
3. In terms of washing, due to hand weaving, some products will shrink slightly when they are washed for the first time. Ironing after washing can make the fabric flat. The dark blue fabric will fade slightly. The homespun cloth will become soft after repeated washing, the more washed, the better the touch.
4. A few homespun cloths have traces of old age, but the fabrics are still strong and beautiful. In order to cherish the materials, we cut some of them and use them, and we hope to get your approval.
