Material Descriptions: The majority of our 14k gold-filled pieces are crafted by coating a brass base with a layer of 1/20 14k gold. This is a popular and durable material that maintains its color for an extended period and is relatively easy to care for, offering a more accessible price point compared to solid K gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely made of 14k gold throughout, containing approximately 58.5% gold mixed with silver, iron, or copper. In Taiwan's climate, solid 14k gold requires even less maintenance and offers a more refined luster. It is also an excellent choice for those with sensitive skin. Custom-plated alloy is another material we frequently use. For these pieces, mixandfun carefully selects unplated chains and applies a special electroplating process, ensuring the color remains vibrant under normal wear conditions. Wearing Precautions: 1. Please dress your accessories before putting them on, and remove them before changing into loungewear. It is not recommended to wear jewelry while bathing, soaking in hot springs, or swimming. 2. We advise using the included silicone stoppers for earrings to minimize the risk of loss. 3. Given Taiwan's warm and humid climate, if you plan to store your jewelry for an extended period, gently wipe it with a soft cloth before placing it in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to fasten the clasp when removing them; this helps prevent tangles. 5. A simple maintenance tip: If you notice any signs of oxidation on your jewelry, don't worry. You can fill a bowl with water, add a pinch of salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil. Submerge your solid K gold or sterling silver jewelry for about 10 minutes, then remove and polish; it should regain its shine. (Material compositions may vary slightly between brands.)
