★ The lines produced by this pen are on the thicker side. Each color pattern is for one pen only. Every pen is crafted uniquely, and minor variations from the hand-firing process are inherent in each piece. (For example, the barrel and nib may not be perfectly straight, the surface may not be entirely smooth, some textured areas might feel raised or uneven to the touch, and the ink grooves may not be perfectly equidistant.) Each glass pen possesses its own unique character, from its feel in hand to its writing sensation, the flow of its patterns, and its length—all are distinct. ★ The reverse side is solid black; please refer to image 3. 【How to Use】 Dip the nib into the ink, covering about 1/3 to over half of the tip (avoid striking the bottom of the ink bottle). The thickness and feel of the writing will vary depending on the angle of the pen. Some angles may not write smoothly; try finding an angle that works best for your writing style. After use, rinse the nib with clean water. If residual ink remains in the grooves after rinsing, a soft-bristled toothbrush can be used for gentle cleaning. Air dry before storing. Handle with care to avoid dropping. ★ Some initial scratching on the paper is normal when first using the pen. ★ To remove the protective cap, do not pull it straight off horizontally (this can damage the nib). Instead, gently twist it off in the opposite direction. ★ Each pen features unique, naturally occurring bubbles or striations. ★ Please use fountain pen ink. ★ For practice, consider using calligraphy practice sheets. ★ Includes a small ink sample (5ml) + a presentation box. (★ As liquids cannot pass through customs for international shipping, an ink rest will be provided instead of ink.) ★ Should repairs be necessary due to damage, a fee will be charged based on the extent of the damage.
