Pieces suitable for macrame are extremely rare. This particular stone was a treasure we managed to find in the gem market. Its exquisite blue-green hue, and its charming, rounded shape with transparency captivated us. For this piece, we focused on the stone itself, with minimal, antique-inspired macrame detailing. To ensure it can be cherished for a long time, we finished it as a simple macrame necklace. Grandidierite is a mineral composed of aluminum borosilicate crystals. First discovered in Madagascar in 1902, it is now used for decorative items like jewelry.
