Le Corsaire / Medora Brooch

This brooch is inspired by Medora, the heroine of the ballet "Le Corsaire." Using a single strand of embroidery thread on an organza base, the costume has been meticulously brought to life. A key detail is the embellishment on the skirt. The colors were carefully chosen through trial and error, seeking beads that would best complement the base blue-green hue. Gold beads evoke the blue of the sea and a starry sky. Another detail is the layering of chiffon, a thin white fabric, over the embroidery to make the decorations stand out. The back is made of felt, and it fastens with a rotating brooch pin. It comes packaged in a dedicated box, allowing you to display it upright on a shelf or desk. Dimensions: 4cm width, 6.5cm height.
