After setting up a workshop, he carefully developed and won the Taiwan Golden Pot Award Ceramic Design Competition and Cultural and Creative Expo. Gold Award, Taiwan Crafts and Cultural Innovation Promotion Association Excellence Award, currently a contemporary Taiwanese young ceramic artist Teacher Yu Huayu has spent more than 20 years mastering the properties of various types of clay, integrating them into his own creative work, combining tradition with modernity, and developing the Yaobian Zhiye series, the Rock and Mineral series, and the Purple Clay Cloud and Smoke series of ceramic works. During this period, Teacher Yu also successfully reproduced the firing technique of Song Dynasty celadon! The Crackle series of works imitate the wood-fired technique of the Song Dynasty. They are fired continuously for 5 days and 4 nights, with the temperature maintained at over 1260 degrees. After turning into ashes, they fall off naturally, presenting the "crackle" of Song Dynasty blue porcelain, which is amazing.
