This latest collaboration from Laan Tou is a crossover with the "Tsing Ying Dragon Boat Team" (@we_are_tsing_ying) from Ap Lei Chau. We've specially designed this "Remember to Paddle" Tee for them. The concept, of course, relates to the dragon in dragon boating. The large print on the back resembles a tattoo, a reminder to keep practicing. "Paddle" is actually slang among dragon boat athletes, meaning "to practice dragon boating." For this project, we've also invited the renowned Mr. Mei (Mr. Kwok Mei), a respected figure in the dragon boat community, to make a special guest appearance as a model! Don't let Mr. Mei's age of over seventy fool you; he's still a formidable dragon boat athlete, actively competing and in excellent health. A true "water person," Mr. Mei comes from a family of fishermen for three generations, and he's a well-known figure in the Ap Lei Chau area. The location for this shoot is the "Dragon's Lair" by the Ap Lei Chau waterfront, where many dragon boats are docked. As the name suggests, the Dragon's Lair houses numerous dragon boats, and interested friends are welcome to visit and explore the culture surrounding this sport.
