As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which might look like "fraying" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful fabric cutting, using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, eliminating them completely is not possible.
