This is a new addition to our beloved "Little Squirrel Story" series. While typically crafted with Czech beads and Swarovski crystals, we wondered how lovely it would be to use natural stones. This led us to create a "Little Squirrel Story" entirely from these beautiful stones. Introducing the "Fu-ki-ju Forest Little Squirrel Story." "Fu-ki-ju" refers to ornamental bonsai-like arrangements created with colorful natural stones, where each stone symbolizes a flower. It is said to be an auspicious item in Feng Shui. We wanted to present something truly charming, not just a piece that simply "uses natural stones." Our inspiration came from the allure of stones like agate and jasper, with their captivating stripes and patterns, which are unique to nature's artistry. We've incorporated these abundant beauties. Many believe natural stones carry gentle, healing energies. The autumnal hues of this piece are designed to evoke a sense of warmth and relaxation. Here are the natural stones used in this creation: *Round Beads* Botswana Agate Artist Jasper Carnelian Red Agate Rutilated Quartz Unakite Yellow Jade (also known as Aragonite or Calcite) Green Aventurine (in this piece, a beautiful variant known as Green Quartzite) Amethyst Tiger's Eye Smoky Quartz *Two Rose Blossoms* Red Aventurine *Leaves* Moss Agate Lemon Quartz Peach Quartz Strawberry Quartz (this one is man-made glass) While rose quartz is often included in Fu-ki-ju for love luck, we've omitted it here to enhance the overall color harmony. Instead, enjoy the Peach Quartz, said to bring gentle love, and Amethyst, believed to protect true love. The little squirrel motif is a charming 3D design, lovely from any angle, tenderly holding an acorn in its hands. You might wonder if the little squirrels in this stone-flower forest have trouble finding food? Not at all! These little squirrels are messengers of the gods, drawing energy from the natural stones to spread joy and happiness. Each piece is unique, with entirely different colors and patterns inherent to natural stones. The item currently available is the one shown in the lower left of images 5 and 6. The kanji for squirrel is "栗鼠," making this a wonderful gift for those born in the Year of the Rat. The brooch pin features a locking mechanism for added security, and a silicone stopper is included for peace of mind. The paper beneath the brooch in the 8th image is the size of a postcard. The 9th image shows the brooch alongside a person for a near life-size perspective. It's a brooch that is both understated and eye-catching. They may feel slightly loose, but this is intentional to ensure they remain securely fastened. While we've arranged beads to minimize the visibility of the base setting, the prongs used to secure the stones may be visible around their immediate area.
