Bonsai Care Itoigawa Shimpaku thrives in warm, humid, and sun-drenched environments. It should be placed in a location with ample sunlight and good air circulation for cultivation. An environment with good air circulation can reduce the incidence of pests and diseases. Shimpaku are extremely light-loving; sufficient sunlight encourages dense foliage buds and vibrant green coloration. During the intense heat of summer, strong direct sunlight can cause scorching.
