Made from black iron through intricate processes, these decorative folk crafts featured unique designs conceived by artisans. Geometric patterns composed of straight lines or arcs were most common, making each window grille a truly "custom-made" work of art by the master craftsman. However, with the gradual replacement of these iron window grilles by mass-produced galvanized steel windows, their creation has nearly faded into history. To bring back the beauty of these handcrafted window grilles, we've employed copper and etching techniques, thus reviving the spirit of the window grille.
