This bracelet is crafted by connecting an Endless Knot, ancient crystal and Mizoram carnelian, ancient agate, old Tibetan turquoise, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and gold-red white hearts. The Endless Knot is a motif from Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing eternal connection and other meanings. The wear on the metal pieces gives them a cool, aged patina. While not extremely old, they have a slightly worn appearance that lends them a wonderful atmosphere. The intricate openwork design features hollow interiors, making them surprisingly lightweight. Inside, we've placed antique Venetian blue beads, envisioning a bluebird within a cage! These are deadstock items, sourced directly from Tibet! (Endless Knot dimensions: 1.1cm width, 0.9cm height) The ancient crystal originates from Afghanistan, dating back approximately 1500 years to the Roman era. These crystals are substantial in size and beautifully shaped with gentle facets. While they bear some scratches, these only add to their profound character. (Ancient Crystal dimensions: 1.1cm height, 0.8cm diameter) The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, passed down from around the 18th century, originating from Mizoram in Northeast India. Their rich, ripe persimmon-like orange hue is captivating! (Mizoram Carnelian dimensions: 0.6cm width, 0.6cm diameter) The beads with beautiful striations are ancient agate from Afghanistan, over 1200 years old. Their deep, earthy tones and intricate patterns are truly remarkable! There are some minor chips, but they do not affect everyday wear. (Ancient Agate dimensions: 0.75cm width, 0.6cm diameter) The old Tibetan turquoise is approximately 100 to 200 years old (possibly older). It was acquired from a collector who purchased it in Tibet. Turquoise is also known as a "Fallen Skystone." Since ancient times, it has been revered as a sacred stone in various cultures. In Tibet, it has sometimes been used medicinally. It is one of the stones passed down and worn for thousands of years. These turquoise pieces are slim and richly expressive. (Turquoise dimensions: 1.1cm height, 0.65cm width, 0.5cm thickness) The plump, vase-like silver beads are made of incredibly rare old Chin silver, passed down from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women in necklaces and show unique wear and endearing marks. Their weight and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though there are modern pieces that are also stylish...). These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The dull golden beads are old Orissa brass from India. These brass beads are exceptionally rare and difficult to obtain nowadays! The heart-shaped components with three rounded patterns are brass findings from India. Their exact age is unknown, but they are believed to be vintage. Enjoy their worn texture and the unique charm of brass! The red beads are antique beads called White Hearts, named for their white core. These are Venetian beads from the 19th-20th century. The pinkish ones are especially rare, known as gold-red White Hearts, as the red color is achieved using gold. The small Karen silver beads on the clasp are individually stamped!
