Obsidian Sterling Silver Pendant, pendant size is 42x24mm, metal materials are 925 silver and 999 silver. It seems to have become a tradition; before the month of blessings, I crafted several companions in black. This piece, in particular, is my first obsidian work crafted from silver in years. Originally, because this obsidian possessed a sheen quite similar to a cat's eye, I envisioned an eye-shaped frame to create a necklace. However, looking at the horizontal frame and the eye that seemed to gaze at me, I suddenly felt it wasn't necessary for it to constantly observe the world. So, I changed direction, placing veins and dewdrops on a beautifully crafted leaf-shaped boat, tailor-made for the main stone. It became a guardian that could gently rest upon the chest, and in the very end, it felt as though someone winked knowingly at me. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight. Dimensions are length x width (x thickness). For styling, besides commercially available silver chains, pieces with oxidized sterling silver for an antique look are also recommended to be paired with stainless steel chains for better color harmony. ❖ During the wire weaving process, slight marks from cutting or pinching the wire may occur due to hand pressure. This generally does not affect the wearing effect. ❖ "Artistic Copper Wire" indicates specialized craft wire consisting of copper wire + plating + protective layer. "Red Copper Wire" and "Brass Wire" indicate bare copper wire (no plating). Silver wire will be specified as 925 or 999 silver. ❖ Natural stones may inherently have characteristics such as cloudiness, patterns, mineral inclusions, or small imperfections from drilling or polishing. ❖ Shipping is by default in simple packaging, with clean anti-collision materials and a shipping bag. A sealed bag will also be included for convenient storage. [Artistic Copper Wire Woven Jewelry] ❖ Artistic copper wire is specialized craft wire consisting of pure copper wire + plating + protective layer. With normal use and care, the color can be maintained for several years without significant changes. ❖ Because the surface has plating and a protective layer, please do not use silver polishing cloths or toothpaste for cleaning, as this will rapidly wear away the plating. ❖ After wearing, please wipe off any moisture (especially sweat) with a soft cloth and store it in the provided sealed bag. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing the jewelry during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, or when bathing in hot springs, as this will not only accelerate wire wear but may also damage the natural stones. [Unplated Copper Wire / Silver Wire Woven Jewelry / Metalwork Sterling Silver Jewelry] ❖ Red copper wire, brass wire, and silver wire are all unplated materials. Natural oxidation is a normal phenomenon (they will gradually turn into antique bronze/antique silver colors). The color changes and oxidation speed will vary depending on wear and individual body chemistry, which is also part of the unique character of bare copper wire jewelry. In terms of oxidation speed, red copper wire tends to oxidize faster for most people (turning into an antique red copper color within days to weeks), while brass and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wire that has undergone vulcanization (antiquing) treatment will have a more stable color tone compared to untreated wire. However, polished areas will still gradually oxidize naturally. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can generally use a silver polishing cloth or gently scrub with toothpaste, then dry or use a hairdryer on a cool setting. ❖ After wearing, please wipe off any moisture with a soft cloth and store it in the provided sealed bag. ❖ Please try to avoid wearing the jewelry during activities that cause heavy sweating, such as sports, or when bathing in hot springs, as this will not only accelerate wire oxidation but may also damage the natural stones. ❖ Woven jewelry made with unplated wire can be sent back for re-polishing at any time (only return shipping fees will apply). [Natural Stones] ❖ Natural gemstones may have characteristics such as cloudiness, patterns, mineral inclusions, black spots, or minor imperfections from drilling or polishing during processing. ❖ The natural stones used in the pieces are mostly semi-precious stones. Some types of stones may have lower hardness (this will be specifically noted).
