Colorful necklace with green chevron, Karen silver, and assorted Venetian antique beads

This is a colorful necklace strung with green chevron beads, Karen silver, and assorted Venetian antique beads. All the beads used for stringing, including the white beads, are antique Venetian beads (19th-20th century). It features turquoise blue and blue chevron beads, striped Canna beads, rare colored White Hearts, cinnabar red White Hearts, and subdued pink Pink Masais strung together. The striped green bead is an antique chevron bead made in Venice in the early 20th century. Chevron beads mean "mountain shape" in English. (In Italian, they are called Rosetta.) They are also known as the "nobility of beads." These are small, charmingly sized chevron beads.
