These accessories are made using Arita ware ceramic fragments. We reuse pottery that would otherwise be unusable, combine it with natural stones, apply gold repairs, and refashion it into accessories. The concept is to allow people to feel closer to nature and long-standing Japanese traditions, transforming them into modern accessories that will continue in the future, and creating new possibilities. Green leaf patterned ceramic fragments from Imari ware (Arita ware) are used and combined with dyed natural turquoise stone. The sides of the pottery pieces are repaired with gold, so the gold stands out even when viewed from the side, creating an elegant look. The refreshing patterns and colors give it a gorgeous and cute impression. This piece was created using a modern version of the simplified kintsugi technique, so unlike real lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, it uses new lacquer and gold powder (brass powder) that are less likely to cause skin rashes, and also uses UV resin for reinforcement. * Although we make our products as carefully as possible, there may be some areas where glue or UV resin has spilled over, or where the lacquer is patchy. We leave these areas as they are to maintain their strength, and sometimes the mixture of lacquer and brass powder may not be uniform.
