Marbling refers to the combination of different colored clays. Patterns are created by combining different colored clays into a long cylindrical shape, much like assembling a decorative sushi roll. Slicing this cylinder reveals multiple clay pieces with similar patterns, which are then shaped into a dish. Vessels made using the marbling technique possess unique characteristics. The patterns appear on both the front and back surfaces. Due to the marbling method, the patterns undergo natural deformations during the crafting process, such as stretching and twisting, as if the designs themselves are in motion!
