Watches with the “Lightning” mark are produced by Seiko’s “Daini Seikosha”, while watches with the “Whirlpool” mark are produced by Seiko’s “Suwa Seikosha”. In 1881, Mr. Kintaro Hattori established the "K Hattori" Hattori Timekeeping Shop in Higashibashi, Tokyo, mainly engaged in clock repair and second-hand clock trading.
