The original black version I made was so charming that I decided to create these in different colors. The black version was initially designed for myself, as I wanted something to match a black dress. Once made, I found it surprisingly lovely and versatile, easily coordinating with various outfits. Ñandutí, in the indigenous Guaraní language, means "spider web." As the name suggests, it is a delicate handicraft made with thread. Patterns are created by stretching a base thread and then weaving or knotting other threads onto it. The embroidery is stiffened with adhesive, and once the embroidered section is detached from the fabric, Ñandutí is complete. The texture is quite firm and moderately stiff, maintaining its shape while retaining the softness of the thread material.
