Made at Arsenal plant in 1960s ORIGINAL FKC FILM CASSETTE FOR KIEV AND CONTAX RANGEFINDER CAMERAS ITEM'S CONDITION: WELL-USABLE The item looks accurately used before, locking buttons of the film cassette works properly. Cosmetically the cassette and the spool inside it looks fine, just examine item's photos, please. You will see latest plastic spool inside. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Double cylinder Contax type cassette is very light tight when it is out of the camera, but provides very easy film transport when it is inside the camera. * Huge door of the cassette provides scratch free films when cassette is opened inside the camera. * The cassette can be used at some other cameras produced in 1940-1970s (Leningrad or Start, for example) if back door locking knob has the special shape for it. * The cassette CAN NOT BE USED with FED, Zorki or Leica cameras even it looks similar with double cylinder cassettes for those cameras. * The spool taken from the cassette can be used as usual take-up spool at Kiev and some other cameras which can use from cassette-to-cassette film winding (Start, Smena-8M etc). * Film cassette is made off nice brass. * Nice item for camera collectors. * The item was produced in USSR at Arsenal plant (Kiev town) in 1960s.
