Rainbow Cloud: A Life Journey Picture Book Full of Poetic and Imaginative Power - หนังสือซีน - กระดาษ

รายละเอียดสินค้า

**Warmly recommended by people from all walks of life, this is a record of a life journey full of poetic and imaginative power, like a psychological theater on paper. It uses the joys and sorrows of life as pigments, blended into a gift for loved ones and a remembrance of a mother.** **★ 10% of the sales of the "Rainbow Cloud" picture book will be donated to support the Shiding "Firefly Bookstore" in its efforts to raise funds for developing local teaching materials.** Mom said, "A rainbow is a palette for tears; your heart reflects true shapes and colors." Sometimes dark like a rainy day, Sometimes hot like an erupting volcano, Sometimes longing to be immersed in deep blue seas, Sometimes like wandering through a blooming garden... Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet... Every different emotion and state is me. What shape and color does your heart reflect now? Like a psychological theater on paper, "Rainbow Cloud" transforms through the spectrum of the rainbow from somber to bright, and the free-spirited forms of clouds, weaving together a journey of inner emotions—sadness, anger, freedom, peace, brightness, warmth, and love. It not only interprets transformations across different life stages but also expresses deep longing for a mother. **Endorsements** Lai Hui-wen (Vice Principal, Chuang Chin Vocational High School), Yeh Chia-hao (Founder, Shiding Firefly Bookstore), Tseng Kuo-feng (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Communication Studies, National Chengchi University), Tseng Mei-hui (Chief Secretary, Hsinchuang Community University), Chen Ruo-pin (Owner, Jian Jian Story House), Lin Shih-chun (Clinical Psychologist, Chinese Association for Psychotherapy and Mental Health Development Foundation), Angela (Head, Angela Music & Art Studio), Xiao Xue (Online Illustrator & Writer), Lisa (Founder, Xin Fu Learning Center)... All have warmly recommended this work (listed in descending order by the number of strokes in their names). **Book Features** ● The entire book is created using pastel art materials, exuding a gentle, tranquil, and natural style. ● Simple, unadorned brushstrokes hold rich layers of color, like a psychological theater on paper, expressing changes in inner emotions through color transitions. ● The ever-changing forms of clouds are transformed into familiar objects from life such as volcanoes, fish, gardens, the sun, the moon, and donuts... presenting the inner world through symbolic narration! ● "Rainbows" and "clouds" symbolize hope, accompanying those in sorrow to regulate their minds, leading to self-healing and the power to love and be loved. ● With lyrical poetry, it harmonizes text and imagery, conveying self-exploration and a yearning for a mother. **Author Introduction** Yang Wei-ping Founder of "Hao Hao Wen Hui" and proprietor of "Better Life Institute for Sensibility." FB: "Hi! Miss Sunshine," "Hao Hao Wen Hui" **Foreword** **Lai Hui-wen (Vice Principal, Chuang Chin Vocational High School)** After rereading it time and again, I find no complex artistic techniques. Yet, paired with the gentle and natural strokes of pastel and poetic expressions, I read simple, sincere emotion, deep longing for a mother, and the transformation of life's colors in "Rainbow Cloud." I recommend this work, full of love and remembrance, to you. **Yeh Chia-hao (Founder, Shiding Firefly Bookstore)** In the midst of the pandemic in 2020, we all needed wisdom and courage. Wei-ping has transformed her precisely honed internal writing skills into a visual expression. Silence speaks louder than words, and absence speaks more than presence. It communicates directly beyond intellect, connecting with local DNA, surpassing the eloquent prose found in countless books. This is true regional revitalization. **Tseng Kuo-feng (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Communication Studies, National Chengchi University)** The Graduate School of Communication Studies at NCCU encourages students to create through various media to express and share their feelings. I am delighted to see that Wei-ping can not only engage in rational thinking in class but has also fulfilled her long-held desire to publish her creative work. I believe that after reading the "Rainbow Cloud" picture book, you will also be inspired to pick up a pen and paint your own story. **Tseng Mei-hui (Chief Secretary, Hsinchuang Community University)** The soft, cotton-like pastel drawings bring warmth. Wei-ping's words possess the power of love: to accompany the grieving in regulating their minds, like the sun, like the stars in the night sky, and the small flowers on the hillside. Everyone can be a rainbow cloud, echoing the Dalai Lama's blessing: to be a healer of wounds for this planet, a teller of stories, and a conveyor of love. **Chen Ruo-pin (Owner, Jian Jian Story House)** Like a gentle breeze brushing across the face, like lying on soft grass, like a pair of hands soothing a wound. The images drawn with pastels in this book are just like the impression Wei-ping gives – a sense of unadorned simplicity; like a rainbow cloud, gentle yet firm. **Lin Shih-chun (Clinical Psychologist, Chinese Association for Psychotherapy and Mental Health Development Foundation)** A good enough caregiver, when providing emotional guidance, needs to offer a psychological space for the child to identify and experience the waxing and waning of positive and negative emotions. Through repeated interaction and accumulation, the child can grow into an independent individual capable of being loved and loving others. I believe the book "Rainbow Cloud" resonates with this understanding. Therefore, while reading this picture book, one can also feel the warm power conveyed by the author, who is both loved and capable of loving. **Angela (Head, Angela Music & Art Studio)** Is it to pursue dreams that one unknowingly heals oneself along the way? Or is it to heal oneself that one unknowingly draws closer to dreams? Wei-ping is warm and delicate. The philosophy she wishes to convey resonates deeply within me through her published articles, her promoted activities, and her seemingly casual conversations. Now, this philosophy has found visual form through pastels, expressing inner thoughts and feelings, and organizing the inner world. Deeply loved, and loving oneself and others. Welcome to pick up this picture book full of love, and join Wei-ping in entering "Rainbow Cloud." Let us become the people we aspire to be! **Xiao Xue (Online Illustrator & Writer)** This book is filled with the author's profound sadness and longing for her mother. However, the gentle and tranquil art style warms every reader, much like a mother's love. The author uses the ups and downs of her life as pigments, blended into a book, a rainbow of happiness. **Lisa (Founder, Xin Fu Learning Center)** Rather than calling "Rainbow Cloud" a picture book, it is more a record of a life journey filled with poetic and imaginative power, serving as a gift for loved ones. It holds deep meaning for Wei-ping, enabling her to understand "who I am" more clearly, and it invites readers to soar and explore alongside: What are our emotional connections? What forms do they take? **Author's Preface** The Origin of "Rainbow Cloud" Creation / Sincerely Accepting the Different Colors and States of Life I once secretly made a small wish: to transition from sharing picture books to creating them. I never imagined this wish would finally come true. I remember on the first picture book creation class, I asked the teacher if I could use photographs instead of drawings, feeling that taking pictures was easier for me than drawing. The teacher looked at me firmly and said, "No, this is a picture book creation class. You must present your ideas in a way that you can." Having ideas but being unable to draw, I felt this was my greatest challenge. Fortunately, with teacher Chen Lu-hsi's persistence and encouragement, I tried using the pastel techniques I had learned, and finally completed this work I had long imagined. "Rainbow Cloud" is a story about "connection." As a daughter and a mother, I am grateful to my mother in heaven for teaching me what love is, and I am grateful to my daughter for teaching me how to love. During the period when my mother passed away from cancer, my life experienced many different colors. I was sad, grieved, lost, and helpless. It was only in recent years that I realized, this is all me. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet... every different emotion and state is a true manifestation of life. The world is contrasted by darkness to highlight brightness, and it is precisely because of these diverse colors that we can further appreciate the brilliance and beauty of life. I believe this is the most important lesson my mother taught me in this life. I hope you will like this work, which is not perfect, but filled with love for me. I look forward to one day bringing "Rainbow Cloud" and sharing more of life's transformations and stories with those who are meant to connect with it.
