📢 Ingredient Functions:
• All-natural, handmade cold-process soap, matured for 45 days.
• Free from preservatives, artificial fragrances, and palm oil.
• Wild Arnebia Root (Xinjiang)
Arnebia root contains the active compound shikonin, a purplish-red pigment responsible for the deep purplish-red color of the infused oil. Numerous traditional Chinese medicine studies indicate that the naphthoquinone compounds in shikonin possess pharmacological effects such as anti-tumor, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal properties, and promoting the regeneration of granulation tissue during wound healing. Its gentle nature makes it particularly suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin.
• Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extra virgin olive oil is the highest grade of olive oil, obtained through low-temperature pressing (cold pressing). It is the first pressing and, apart from cleaning or filtering, undergoes no refining processes like deacidification, decolorization, or deodorization. This preserves all its natural components and benefits. The glycerin in olive oil contains unsaturated fatty acids similar to human milk, with polyunsaturated linoleic acid and linolenic acid content almost identical to breast milk, making it easily absorbed by the skin. Olive oil is also rich in vitamins A, B, D, E, and K, which promote the metabolism of skin cells and hair follicles. The vitamin E and unsaponifiable components help boost collagen production, maintaining skin firmness and elasticity, and offering anti-aging benefits.
• Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is an essential oil in handmade soap making. It has strong cleansing properties, produces abundant lather, and results in stable, long-lasting soaps. However, if the proportion of coconut oil is too high, it can be irritating to the skin. There are two main types of coconut oil: cold-pressed and refined. Cold-pressed coconut oil contains more impurities and is not ideal for soap making.
• Castor Oil
Castor oil is a highly moisturizing oil with excellent hydrating effects, soothing, and lubricating the skin while also repairing it and enhancing its water absorption capacity. It creates a rich, transparent lather and is gentle and stable.
• Sweet Almond Oil
Rich in vitamins A, B complex, E, and minerals, its high oleic acid content provides excellent moisturizing power and softens the skin. It is less viscous than olive oil or camellia oil, feeling lighter and offering a pleasant user experience. When used in soap, it produces fine, durable, and fluffy lather similar to milk. It melts and deforms easily, so it needs to be balanced with anti-melting oils. It is suitable for high-quality facial soaps. Recommended usage: 15-100%.
• Shea Butter
Shea butter is frequently used in high-end skincare products for its excellent moisturizing properties and its ability to soften the skin and improve its texture. Handmade soaps containing shea butter provide a noticeable protective layer on the skin after bathing and washing, locking in moisture for exceptional hydration.
