Be careful what you wish for! Lest you find yourself in a dire predicament. Five children, taking advantage of their parents' absence, ventured to a sandpit near their new home. To their surprise, they unearthed a mysterious sand spirit. This being, existing on Earth for tens of millions of years, possessed the ability to grant any wish. The children were overjoyed and eagerly made all sorts of requests. However, whether born of genuine desire or casual hope, every wish plunged them into tricky predicaments. Worse still, the sand spirit eventually grew impatient with the children and refused to help them retract their wishes! How would these children extricate themselves from the troubles they had created? Would the irate sand spirit relent and mercifully offer assistance?
