GB・Yellow

Original vessels created by ceramic artist Morishita Shingo. The lid was created by woodworker Yasushi Shimizu to fit the container. With this combination, a new "lidded container" was created. What I would like to introduce to you today is a goblet-shaped lidded piece. The bright yellow color of this vessel catches your eye. When you open the lid, a world of yellow spreads out before you. The cherry blossom lid matches the color of the container. The knob is shaped like a deformed heart. This piece has a slightly playful and unique atmosphere. So, what would you put into this piece? How do you use it? ■Material: Container/Ceramics Lid: Cherry, walnut ■Size: Diameter approx. 90mm, height approx. 170mm *The lid has a ceramic finish. It is resistant to moisture, but if left unattended it may stain, so if moisture gets on it, wipe it off as soon as possible. Also, do not use a dish dryer, dry it in direct sunlight, or use a microwave, as these may cause cracks or warping. Also, the lid is not airtight, so it is not suitable as a storage container for items that dislike moisture.
