A scratch (dimple) is a small dent that naturally occurs inside a shellfish. Because it is a Gemstone grown by nature, the surface of a pearl is never completely smooth. They are called dimples or natural scratches because they are different from scratches added later. It is a "proof of authenticity" that can only be created by pearls grown in the rich natural environment. Please enjoy the individual characteristics of Akoya pearls, which are different from artificial pearls.
For safety around the neck, the chain of the necklace is made in such a way that the ring part will come off if too much force is applied to it, so please handle it with care.
